Recipe: Easy Homemade Ice Cream

INGREDIENTS 


  • 600 ml heavy whipping cream
  • 300 ml sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS



1. Pour heavy whipping cream into a big bowl.  Whisk cream using a hand or stand mixer on medium high speed until thick and stiff peaks form. 

2. Turn off the machine and add in sweetened condensed milk.  Carefully mix it in with the folding motion. Pour in condensed milk slowly as you mix to make sure it is properly mixed.  Do not overly stir the ice cream mixture.

3. Add vanilla extract and stir lightly to mix well. (optional)

4. Transfer ice cream mixture to an air tight container, cover with lid, and freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight before serving.
